Dear Friend,

Last week, I invited you to pledge your commitment to give to the National Trust on #GivingTuesday.

Your commitment ensures we can preserve America's history in the places where it
happened. With you, we can shape our cultural legacy for generations to come.

When you make this simple pledge and then support us on #GivingTuesday, you’ll
play a pivotal role in securing funds for the work of preserving the places that
tell our American story. You’ll help protect historically significant places
across the country…

…from the National Mall Tidal Basin, a beloved tribute to our national heritage
that is facing major challenges like daily flooding, unstable sidewalks,
outdated visitor facilities, and serious damage to its iconic cherry trees;

…to the Waikiki War Memorial Natatorium, a unique ocean-water swimming pool that
was dedicated in 1927 to honor the 10,000 Hawai’ian citizens who served in World
War I;

…to scores of significant buildings, neighborhoods, public lands, and other
pieces of our nation’s extraordinary mosaic of history, stories, and culture;

...and so much more.

If you didn’t get a chance to pledge your #GivingTuesday support, please do so
now.

Thank you for committing to join us as we continue to protect the places that
have shaped our diverse American story.

Gratefully,

Elizabeth Bruns
Director of Member Engagement
