After a year that has felt like a decade, we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to the Sister District community.

Because of you, this was a year of firsts for Sister District. In 2020, we raised more for candidates than our previous three years combined, reached out to a record number of voters, and tripled our number of endorsed candidates. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning, donated a dollar here or there, or became a phonebanking superstar this year, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are also thankful for our brilliant candidates. Running for office takes courage. Our candidates authentically and unapologetically showed up as themselves. From our first-generation immigrants to single parents to healthcare workers, they all showed up ready to create change. Throughout their campaigns, they invested in their communities and gave back every chance they got. We are honored that they trusted us to amplify their vision and mission.

Finally, if you’re free December 9, please join us for a virtual holiday party! We’ll be spreading good cheer, and enjoying performances from Hamilton cast members, including the inimitable Ryan Vasquez!

From all of us at Sister District, thank you for dedicating your time to save our democracy, for believing in our candidates, and for working toward a brighter future. As a grassroots organization, we know we are nothing without your endless support and hard work.
