It's been brilliant to join so many of you on our One World Week festival events so far this week!
We're continuing the amazing array of speakers, activists and inputs for you for throughout the week, and next up is our second youth summit hosted jointly with the Irish Girl Guides:
Renowned foreign correspondent Mary Fitzgerald joins a panel of young people for an inspiring and interactive summit that will showcase how giving space and opportunity to young people is an important strategy to empowerment and
how a trip to India turned into a national sustainable living programme
how attending a worldwide young women leadership seminar sparked an interest in the fight against period poverty
NYCI and our Youth 2030 partners Concern Worldwide, Maynooth University and Trócaire are really excited that for the first time this year, One World Week is a collaboration with NYCI member organisations Irish Girl Guides, Youth Work Ireland Galway and the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland as well as Kelvin Akpaloo and the Climate Youth Artivists.
As ever, all this magic and collaboration couldn't happen without the support of Irish Aid.
Youth 2030 is a partnership between NYCI and Irish Aid, working in consortia with Concern Worldwide, Maynooth University and Trócaire to deliver Global Youth Work and Development Education to the youth sector.
