Thanks to your relentless advocacy, last night we pushed the House of Representatives to vote YES for HR 2486: The FUTURE Act for Minority Serving Institutions! These big wins in Congress are completely thanks to members like you. But the fight isn't over yet:

** You know the drill: AANAPISI schools educate nearly half of our young adults.

But funding is going to run out at the end of this month if we don't get our senators to act. The FUTURE Act for Minority Serving Institutions passed the House on Sept. 18 with bipartisan support! The next step is the Senate.
Senate leadership is doing everything they can to keep the FUTURE Act from going to a vote. They know it's a strong bill with bipartisan support, and it'll likely pass. But we won't let them ignore our students!
It's up to us: we must push our senators to vote NOW in support of Asian American and Pacific Islander students and other students of color.

Advocacy tip: to make it even easier for your community to respond, find your state's senators and AANAPISIs ahead of time and just post their phone numbers, the script, and the deadline. Like this:
