As a physician, I am closely following the global Covid-19 pandemic with great concern for all of us.
It’s comforting news that we may have a vaccine available before the end of the year. Understandably, the first doses will be given to those at highest risk: healthcare workers, first responders, hospitals, public health departments and the likes. Therefore, no one knows when the majority of Americans will receive access– it will be sometime before the vaccine is available in pharmacies.
I honestly believe we are still in the long haul of this pandemic and it’s up to each individual to stay informed and very careful about their potential exposure to Covid-19. One critical step you can take is to strengthen your immune system.
