Yesterday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced her endorsement of Marie. It didn’t take long for Dan Lipinski to go on the attack.

His statement sounds a lot like the kinds of things you hear on Fox News -- bashing his fellow House Democrats and several core progressive policies. He went as far as to call both Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and Marie “extreme,” saying he didn’t think the Third District wants to be represented by “a fifth member of ‘The Squad.’”

It’s outrageous that someone who calls himself a Democrat would parrot Trump talking points to attack people in our party.

If you want to talk about what’s out of step with the values of our district, let’s start by talking about Lipinski’s vote against Obamacare... or his support for Trump’s draconian immigration policies... or his refusal to support marriage equality… or his consistent anti-choice stances... or his failure to help working families get a raise.

The reason Dan Lipinski is lashing out against Marie and other Democrats is because he knows voters in this district want change, and the progressive movement is coming together to make it happen.

Let’s show Dan that using Trump talking points to attack Marie will backfire every time -- chip in right now:
