"House Judiciary Committee votes to approve red flag bill and high capacity magazine ban"-- CNN, September 11, 2019

The National Rifle Association is attacking Democrats who support a high-capacity magazine ban. Do you think we should ban high-capacity magazines?

John --

In 2019 alone, there have been at least 300 mass shootings. Too many families have been torn apart because of this senseless violence, and Americans everywhere are unifying to say enough is enough.

Democrats in Congress hear the call to action loud and clear, and that's why the Judiciary Committee just advanced a measure to ban high-capacity magazines and authorized a bill that would incentivize states to establish "red flag" laws.

But some politicians would rather defend the NRA than take meaningful action to pass laws that would combat gun violence. Suzan DelBene wants to know where you stand. Do you support banning high-capacity magazines? Take the poll.

A high-capacity magazine is the reason why the Dayton, Ohio, shooter was able to kill nine people in less than 30 seconds. These weapons serve one purpose only: to kill as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Listen, this isn't a right or left issue -- this is an American issue. Too many politicians are more beholden to the gun lobby than their own constituents. It's time for action.

Suzan DelBene wants to know what you think: should Congress ban high-capacity magazines?
