Like just about every other aspect of our lives, Thanksgiving 2020 will be different.

Millions of Americans will spend Thur‌sday alone, sacrificing their holiday to keep their community and family safe. Marcelle and I will be desperately missing our children and grandchildren as we celebrate Thanksgiving without them in compliance with COVID guidelines.

But we are the lucky ones. We have each other, we have our health, and we have food to share. Millions are without work and without food, and they are relying on the generosity of their neighbors to help them through these difficult times.

We have so much to be thankful for -- and so much left to do to help the most vulnerable among us.
