Hello,

Most of us agree that Donald Trump has done enough damage to our country -- that’s why we voted him out. And yet it seems the soon-to-be private citizen wants to see how much damage he can inflict on our democracy before he rides out.

Trump is now doing everything humanly possible to block Joe Biden’s transition to power -- and at great expense to our country. The threat he’s imposing should be taken seriously.

But you don’t have to take our word for it. Officials who worked for Democratic AND Republican presidents have told POLITICO that “the posture threatens to leave Biden’s team unprepared in January when it takes over a millions-strong federal workforce” and “it sends a message to the world that the United States, generally a model across the globe, is vulnerable and unable to administer a seamless transition of power.”

That all but leaves the perfect opportunity for foreign adversaries to take advantage of the uncertainty. But hey, maybe that’s what Trump wants. An attack on American soil that Joe Biden must take responsibility for? That would be a win in Trump’s eyes.

We can’t allow one man’s bruised ego to bring our country down any further -- but friend, right now we don’t have the funds we need to rally support behind Biden and Harris and dispel Trump’s claims that he has a right to stay in power.

 

We need your help. While we’re concerned that Trump won’t ever concede, the real threat is in Americans turning a blind eye to his malfeasance. We are not powerless, even if Trump wants to make us feel that way. With or without his approval, we are moving our country forward. Please, will you pitch in anything you can now to demand that Trump initiate a transfer of power and make it clear that his days in office are numbered?
