David Perdue just wants you to leave him alone.

Just before Republicans forced Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to a Senate vote, Perdue was caught on camera hiding from women in an airport bathroom to avoid answering questions about Kavanaugh’s nomination. It’s no wonder – it’s hard to answer for Kavanaugh’s temperament, belligerence, and history of alleged sexual assault.

Friend, putting Kavanaugh onto the Supreme Court only scratches the surface of what Republicans have done to the judiciary. Since President Trump took office, 150 judges have been confirmed to the federal bench. That’s more lifetime federal appointments than any president has made in three decades.

That is one of Perdue's proudest accomplishments – helping confirm 150 federal judges ready to uphold Republican legislation restricting the right to vote, the right to abortion, or the right to equal protection under the law, no matter your gender identity or sexual orientation.

This record makes one point crystal clear: Perdue wants to preserve a power structure that has kept men like him at the top of our nation’s social hierarchy since its founding. I’m running to change it.
