As COVID cases soar and our workplaces shut down again, workers urgently need real economic relief and healthcare reform. Securing the presidency for Biden/Harris was a powerful first step; but, if we want to win a Senate majority that can pass transformative legislation for working people, we need to win both Georgia Senate seats in January. And it’s going to take a powerful coalition of organizations and diverse strategies to do it.

Georgia voters are already inundated with calls, texts, mailers and ads. Our field experience this election season confirms that face-to-face conversations can be the deciding factor in mobilizing voters to the polls. Our Take Back 2020 Georgia campaign is modeled after our successful contactless canvassing operations in Nevada, Arizona, Florida and Pennsylvania this year. Our UNITE HERE members in Georgia will be joined by our battle-tested canvassers, many of them laid-off hospitality workers who were already trained on the doors in other key states this election. We believe our team can make a critical difference in electing Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff—but we can’t do it alone.
