CJA’s newest story snapshot digs in the dirt with SouthWest Organizing Project (SWOP), exploring these questions through the lens of this seminal environmental justice organization’s history and current Project Feed the Hood. SWOP’s intergenerational community combines principles of food sovereignty, educational and racial justice to teach young people how caring for land and growing food is an act of liberation.
