The risk of exposure to COVID-19 is still very real— it's surging to record levels in Los Angeles, the US, and the world.
We need to be extra vigilant and mitigate the risks of infection, particularly for those who are older or who have pre-existing conditions. For the sake of our collective health, please remember to wear a mask when you leave your home, practice social distancing, and wash your hands frequently. This pandemic has shown us that the health of one is the health of all so we all need to take responsibility for our common well-being.
What that means for DSA-LA’s organizing is that for the foreseeable future, we will be operating online and via Zoom. You’ve just heard about some events that you can attend and we really encourage you to use this time where you’re at home to get involved with our work. There are some easy ways to stay connected to the chapter, such as: signing-up on the front page of our website to receive our weekly newsletter, checking the calendar on the site for upcoming events, and joining DSA-LA’s Slack.
In solidarity,
DSA-LA
