Hello Friends,
Last Wednesday, the Young Democrats were excited to travel down to Ashland to attend a house party hosted by Senator Jeff Golden and Medford School Board Chair, Karen Starchvick on behalf of the Young Democrats of Oregon! Thanks to our Fundraising Co-Chair, Brittany Leffel, we were able to give a comprehensive and detailed presentation on how climate change will affect us here in Oregon and how young people are organizing to combat it. We had a great time in Ashland, raised awareness for an important issue, raised some money for our team and were able to expand our network down to Southern Oregon! Thank you to Senator Golden & Karen for hosting this event and for everyone who turned out and showed their support.
