Friend,

Right now, there are two redistricting fights playing out this week -- one in North Carolina and one in New Hampshire. You'll hear from us tomorrow with more on North Carolina. But as the resident New Hampshire expert on the team, I wanted to give you a quick update on the status of redistricting reform in the Granite State.

-- FIRST: There was a bipartisan bill that would have created an independent redistricting commission -- it had strong public support and even passed unanimously by a voice vote in the state senate.
-- THEN: NH Governor Chris Sununu vetoed that bipartisan bill, making him the first governor to stand in the way of an independent redistricting commission ahead of the 2021 process.
-- NOW: State legislators will be voting this week to potentially override the veto -- it'll be an uphill battle, but it's one we need to climb.

We need to send map manipulators like Gov. Sununu a clear message: when politicians stand in the way of fairness, this grassroots army will be there to fight back. If you support fair maps and truly representative democracy, show your support by donating to All On The Line.

Governor Sununu wants to perpetuate a system where politicians pick their voters, rather than adopt commonsense reform to end partisan gerrymandering. But it's no surprise that he wants to silence the voices of voters. In fact, he has already issued more than 55 vetoes in 2019 -- more than three times the amount of any other governor in NH history.

Help build a strong grassroots infrastructure in advance of the 2021 redistricting process. If other politicians try to stand in the way of fairness -- just as Gov. Sununu did -- All On The Line will be there to hold them accountable, but we need to invest in building our campaign's infrastructure NOW.

Thanks in advance for helping this movement hold politicians accountable.
