Hello,

The Hill all but confirmed what we’ve been fearing for a while now. We waited for a resounding rebuke of Donald Trump and everything he stands for in this election -- and it never came. That fact “could make both the Republican Party and the Trumpist faction within the party stronger long term.”

Trump not only received more votes than any Republican presidential candidate in history, but his baseless claims of electoral fraud are still gaining traction among an alarming number of Americans who are willingly applauding and expanding their support for Trumpism.

As The Hill further reports, “now, Trump’s influence in shaping the GOP’s ideological identity, the presidency itself, and hundreds of lifetime-appointed judges are his continuing legacies.” Even scarier? “Trumpism without Trump could redirect voting patterns towards the GOP for a generation” -- especially in the 2024 landscape.

It’s easy to turn off the news and hope that we’ve seen the last of Trump’s influence. But we can’t ignore the fact that over 73 million Americans, even in Democratic constituencies, voted for a man that has followed the trends of authoritarians across the world. We’re very concerned that Trump will continue to command support as a private citizen, which is why we need to know where Democrats like you stand:

Do you support Trumpism?

YES   NO

Thank you for providing your crucial input.
