Welcome to Monday, November 23rd, prescription and over-the-counters...
The Republican National Committee (RNC) and Michigan Republican Party (MRP) are urging the Michigan Board of State Canvassers to delay certifying the election for 14 days and to audit Wayne County's election results.
The letter - written by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and MRP Chairwoman Laura Cox - said it supported a request by John James, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, to investigate the county's results for self-proclaimed "irregularities."
"To simply gloss over those irregularities now without a thorough audit would only foster feelings of distrust among Michigan’s electorate," the letter reads.
At the conclusion of their meeting with President Trump on Friday, the Republican leaders of the Michigan legislature issued a joint statement saying "we have not yet been made aware of any information that would change the outcome of the election in Michigan."
Trump responded to both lawmakers on Twitter Saturday with more unfounded allegations ([link removed]) of fraud and misconduct in the Great Lakes State.
"Massive voter fraud will be shown!" Trump tweeted.

** Should Veterans With Disabilities Receive Free National Parks Passes?
------------------------------------------------------------
The Senate and House have both passed the Wounded Veterans Recreation Act. It's now up to Trump to sign or veto the measure.
The act instructs the Dept. of Defense (DOD) and the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) to make the National Parks and Recreational Lands Pass available - free of charge, for life - to veterans with service-connected disabilities and U.S. citizens and residents who have been medically determined to be permanently disabled.
Those in favor argue that experiencing the outdoors can be very healing and restorative and providing a free pass is a way of showing gratitude to those who have served, not just those who have 100% disability.
Those opposed say people who are classified as having 100% permanent disabilities are already eligible for free a pass and broadening the group would reduce the number of people who might purchase passes, thereby reducing the National Parks Services’ revenue.
