This race is far from over.

Mike Garcia's razor-thin lead is now just a few hundred votes -- and there are thousands still left to count. Whatever happens, we're committed to making sure that the voters' right to decide who represents them is upheld, and that each and every voter's voice is heard in this election.

To do that, we're working to help voters fix missing signatures on their ballots so that they can be counted, and we're preparing for a recount. That all takes resources, John, so we HAVE to meet our goal of raising $225,000 for our recount fund.
