I’m reaching out to make sure you had a final chance before our midnight deadline to become a Founding Donor for our First 100 Days of Action Fund. Let me tell you why I’m dedicated to our initiative, and why I'm counting on your support.

The truth is, this fight is personal for me: My mother was murdered by a senseless act of gun violence. It’s why I work with Brady now, to make sure no other family has to experience the pain and loss I have experienced. So believe when I say, I’m more hopeful than ever.

With gun violence prevention champions in the White House, the NRA reeling, and the majority of people in this country on our side — we’re truly on the cusp of change and ending the NRA’s reign of terror. But right now, we need 76 more people to become Founding Donors to galvanize the change we know will save lives:

We're unique that way — and we have the record of working with Joe Biden to pass landmark gun safety legislation: both the Brady Bill and the first federal assault weapons ban.
