At the end of this month, we hit our very first FEC fundraising deadline since Rep. Paul Cook officially announced his retirement from Congress.

This is a big deal. So we set a very ambitious fundraising goal to show everyone just how serious our people-powered campaign is. Perhaps more importantly, hitting this goal will prove the progressive movement is alive and well in CA-08, and we’ll scare off the horde of Republicans looking to jump in against me.

With less than two weeks until our deadline, every donation we generate right now will put us in the best position possible to report a big number come September 30th. So I need to ask:
