Friend,

Despite the pandemic, you voted in record numbers to elect Joe Biden as our president. You marched in the streets. You organized. You advocated. You fought for our values every step of the way.

But now, even after Joe Biden won Michigan by more than 154,000 votes — more than 14 times Trump's 2016 margin — Trump is purposefully sowing doubt about the outcome. Spreading conspiracy theories, and making baseless accusations of fraud, does nothing but undermine our democracy.

No matter how hard Trump tries, he cannot change reality. The people of Michigan have spoken, and chosen Joe Biden to serve as their next President of the United States.

Now, the Board of State Canvassers has a legal obligation to respect the will of the voters and certify the election. The Board meets in Lansing at 1 pm tomorrow, and we need your help to spread the word. Here's what you can do:

  • Join the Car Caravan Rally happening in Lansing tomorrow starting at 11:30 am. Sign up here.

  • Sign up to speak or submit written comment at tomorrow's Board of State Canvasser meeting. Sign up here.

  • Make your voice heard by contacting Michigan officials: State Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey: (517) 373-5932 email: [email protected]

State Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield: (517) 373-2629 Email: [email protected] Tell them: do the right thing and follow the law.

  • View the meeting at 1 pm tomorrow online. A livestream will be available at that time here.

Thanks for taking action. Together, we'll uphold democracy.
