Friend, widespread voter fraud isn't real -- even some of Donald Trump's supporters have admitted that they have no evidence any fraud occurred in the 2020 election.
So why are Republicans peddling a baseless conspiracy theory that the election was stolen because millions of "illegal votes" were cast?
Because the GOP's goal isn't to actually prove the existence of widespread voter fraud. Rather, it's to make enough Americans believe in widespread voter fraud to undermine confidence in our democracy and to justify draconian voter suppression measures.
Widespread voter fraud isn't real, but widespread voter suppression very much is. And as the Republican Party devolves into a fringe movement, they will become more dependent than ever on voter suppression and gerrymandering to win elections.
We can't let Donald Trump's false narrative of voter fraud undermine our democracy, friend. Will you chip in today to support the NDRC's efforts to protect voting rights for ALL Americans?
