Last-minute rush to auction off the Arctic Refuge
In its waning days of power, the Trump administration invites the oil industry to pick where it wants to lease for oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s coastal plain. This is the administration’s midnight effort to sell off sacred and irreplaceable lands in the Alaskan wilderness before a new day dawns.
