With more and more ballots being counted every day, this race is still too close to call.

Right now, Mike Garcia is ahead by just a few hundred votes, but there are thousands left to count. That's a razor-thin margin and one that could change at any moment.

As the numbers continue to change, it's becoming clear that this race will come down to a handful of votes and likely a recount. While we don't yet know how this race will turn out, we do know this: In a democracy like ours, every single vote must be counted.

Across the country, Republicans are searching for ways to invalidate votes and voters' voices. But our democracy is bigger than any single election, and we won't stand by and allow it to be undermined.
