This week we won an important victory in pressuring Arlington National Cemetery to reverse their misguided decision to cancel Wreaths Across America due to COVID concerns. I also continued to speak out against further lockdowns and discussed the socialist stranglehold on the Democrat Party.

A WIN FOR WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA

The decision to cancel Wreaths Across America earlier this week was misguided and based on emotion, not logic or reason.

Large areas, outside and well spaced, with masks on, is perfectly safe. That is why I spoke out so strongly immediately after the announcement was made, calling on Arlington National Cemetery to reverse their decision. Thankfully, these calls for action were answered by the Army Secretary, who reversed the decision to allow Wreaths Across America to continue with the proper precautions.

Our fallen deserve to be remembered.

SAY IT WITH ME: NO MORE LOCKDOWNS

Say it with me: no more lockdowns. The costs on livelihoods, jobs, our economy, and our children are devastating. We shouldn’t be choosing the costliest possible option to deal with this virus, especially when we now know that lockdowns do not work.

A comprehensive study released this week showed that less costly pandemic mitigation measures slowed the spread of the coronavirus just as well as – if not better – than full scale economic lockdowns.

It’s a sign of public policy malfeasance that lockdowns are still considered as an option for local leaders given that the science is clear: the minimal benefits are not worth the costs.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY PLATFORM: SOCIALISM

Democrat leaders like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi have given socialism and its destructive policies a platform within their party. Now, they’re suffering the consequences.

Not only did Nancy Pelosi lose a dozen seats in this election because her party campaigned on socialism, but the radical wing of the party has grown and is now holding the Democrat Party hostage to their list of demands.

Medicare for All. Green New Deal. Defund the police. These are the policies the radical left will implement if we give them power, and it’s the exact same policies that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris flirted with on the campaign trail.

When you allow socialists to your dinner party you shouldn’t be surprised when they get drunk on power and start to demand things from you. That’s exactly what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi have done.
