Tell Congress:
"We demand that all COVID-19 vaccines be made free and available to everyone in the United States, regardless of ability to pay."

John,
The only realistic end to the pandemic is the creation of an effective vaccine.
In recent weeks, Moderna and Pfizer both announced that their vaccines have shown 90%+ efficacy in trials. Once these vaccines are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the federal government will begin the hard work of mass distribution of the vaccine to hundreds of millions of Americans.
But, with millions having lost their jobs and their health insurance during the pandemic, it’s critical that we make this vaccine available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
Join CHN and our partners in calling on Congress to make COVID-19 vaccines free for all U.S. residents.
Earlier this year, Donald Trump’s Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Azar told Congress that the Trump administration “can’t control the price” of any potential vaccine. But that is flat wrong. Congress can control the price by passing legislation!
Billions of dollars of taxpayer money has already been deployed to create the vaccine. This is not a time for excess Big Pharma profits.
Without a free vaccine, the racial and economic disparities exposed by this pandemic will only worsen. Black Americans are dying at twice the rate of any other racial group, and two-thirds of Latinx households have lost jobs or wages due to the pandemic.
Tell Congress to pass immediate legislation to make the COVID-19 vaccine free for all U.S. residents.
Thank you for taking action today to end this pandemic and create an equitable distribution process throughout the country.
