Friend -- I wanted to share some exciting news. We just launched our new letter to the editor (LTE) advocacy tool this week and the first letter -- signed by a Redistricting U alum -- has already been officially published! Are you ready to submit your letter?

We designed this easy-to-use digital advocacy tool to empower community advocates, new organizers, and ordinary folks who want to take action in the fight for fair maps.

Everything you need to know about the new advocacy tool is in the email below!

Thanks for getting involved,
Mallory

Subject: JUST RELEASED: AOTL digital advocacy tool

We're excited to announce the launch of our letter to the editor tool. Submitting letters to the editor (LTE) of your local newspapers is a great way to educate your community about the redistricting process.

Throughout our fight to end gerrymandering, the AOTL team will provide advocates like you with timely and relevant LTE actions that will help us achieve fair maps in 2021.

Our first LTE topic is a primer on gerrymandering that explains why advocating for fair maps is the next big voting rights fight. Check out the tool and customize a letter to submit to your local newspaper!

As A.G. Holder said, "The redistricting process is inevitable, but gerrymandering is not. We have the power to prevent it." We can win the fight for fair maps if we continue to grow a strong grassroots movement -- but that means we must reach out in-person, digitally, and through letters to your local paper.

We can prevent another decade of unfair maps, but we have to grow our movement and educate our neighbors. Get engaged by using our new LTE tool.

Our grassroots movement is the last line of defense in the fight for fair maps. So, get out there and make your voice heard! We must give it all we have going into 2021.

Thanks for staying in the fight,
The AOTL Team

P.S. Don't forget to send the LTE tool to your friends and family and encourage them to take action as well. Together we can make a difference!
