-- Mark spoke with health officials and senior living facilities CEOs in Hampton Roads [[link removed]] about the impact of COVID-19 on seniors in Virginia and across the country. The group discussed the mental health impacts of isolation, rising insurance costs, and difficulties retaining staff.

-- Mark spoke out against the firing of Chris Krebs [[link removed]], director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Krebs worked with leaders on both sides of the aisle to keep the general election free from interference and called this election "the most secure in American history."

-- Mark opposed the President's attempt to undermine the results of the 2020 election [[link removed]] and called on business leaders, Republican lawmakers, and military leaders to call on the President to accept the will of the American people.

-- The Senate passed Mark's bi-partisan cybersecurity legislation this week [[link removed]]. With hackers increasingly targeting internet-connected devices, Mark's legislation is an important step forward to protect individual and national security by incorporating basic safeguards into "Internet of Things" products purchased by the federal government. He is optimistic the President will sign this bill into law.
