"Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts."
- 1 Chronicles 16: 8-9
Africa & Europe
- Pray for survivors in Uganda who have faced re-victimization in recent months, including one widow who has been falsely accused of a crime and imprisoned in retaliation for her attempts to secure her right to her own land. Pray for her safety and quick release from prison, as well as for protection for other women and children at risk of violence during this time.
Latin America
- Please pray for our Bolivia team who, alongside IJM-trained partners, continues serving survivors and finding ways to strengthen the Bolivian justice system response. Following a presidential election at the end of October, new authorities are being set in place in different offices of the public justice system. Pray for grace and favor to be able to connect with these new authorities, so we can share about IJM's work in Bolivia addressing sexual violence against children and find ways to collaborate towards our common goal of making sustainable changes in the country that ensure all children are protected.
South Asia
- Pray for IJM teams across South Asia as we work to study our impact over the last 20 years. IJM has been supporting the government to combat sex trafficking and bonded labor, and together we believe we have seen massive transformation. Thousands have been rescued and restored, and the justice system in many places now serves people in poverty much better than before. Please pray for wisdom and insight as we and our partners study our impact, and pray that we will be able to share these changes in a powerful way to show the world what is possible.
Southeast Asia
- Praise God for newly appointed IJM Ambassador

Amanda Griffin Jacob , a model, TV presenter, entrepreneur and mother. She will be using her voice and online influence to rally others to the cause of ending the online sexual exploitation of children in the Philippines. Griffin said of this role: "Since learning about this heinous crime and its impact on children across the Philippines, I've resolved to use my voice and platform — and rally other influencers to do the same — to elevate this issue into the global consciousness until every child anywhere in the world is protected from such unspeakable suffering." Pray that God will bless her efforts!
IJM HQ & Global Partners
IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has
international advancement offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, the
Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
- Pray for continued support for anti-trafficking funding from the U.S. Congress. Last week, the U.S. Senate released spending bills that would continue to fund the U.S. government's efforts to combat slavery and trafficking. Pray for final passage of the 2021 appropriations bill in December to include a proposed funding increase to the State Department's Child Protection Compacts, which help combat the trafficking of children around the world.
