As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spike across the country, it is critical that we take precautions to stop the spread.

Though the safest way to have Thanksgiving this year may be to celebrate with only those in your household, we wanted to provide tips and reminders so that we all stay healthy and safe—holiday or not!

Wear a mask (3-ply is best) over your nose and mouth, and snugly against your face to stop the spread of COVID-19.
People infected with COVID-19 or the flu may be asymptomatic—stay cautious!
Keep 6 feet (about 2 arm lengths) from others.
Limit the number of guests in your home.
Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Keep hand sanitizer with you in case you are unable to wash your hands. Make sure to use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Bring your own food, drinks, plates, cups, and utensils, or encourage guests to do the same, in order to limit the number of hands touching and sharing surfaces.
Have a small outdoor meal with family and friends who live in your community.
If celebrating indoors, keep windows open.
Get your flu shot, especially if you will be traveling.

Please remember to be cautious as the weather turns cold, as COVID-19 spreads more easily in cold, dry air.
