Dear reader,
Two months ago PublicSource launched a partnership with the nonprofit Open Campus to expand thoughtful reporting on higher education in our community. As part of that partnership, we welcomed reporter Naomi Harris to PublicSource as a higher ed reporter.
As she started developing her beat and talking to people, she began hearing concerns about COVID-19 protocols at the largest library on Pitt's campus. She hit the ground running to report out a story that looks at the worries of staff members, what the university is doing to protect its community and how it compares to other institutions.
