The Great American Foodathon benefiting No Kid Hungry
Next Wednesday, November 25, celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian along with City Harvest and No Kid Hungry, will host The Great American Foodathon, a televised Thanksgiving dinner party airing on eleven FOX affiliates to benefit City Harvest and No Kid Hungry.
The evening will bring together best-known food personalities and other exciting special guests for a gathering taking place in living rooms across the country in order to raise funds and awareness, as Americans continue to suffer from the pandemic and its economic impact.
Just in time for the holidays, The Great American Foodathon will feature short cooking and cocktail demos from top chefs and mixologists, stand up bits, and live performances. It will be a night of entertainment, hope, and a celebration of what there is to be thankful for.
Make sure to tune in to an evening filled with food, fun, and support of the No Kid Hungry campaign!

Cooking Up Hope for At-risk Youth
For too long kids who end up in the juvenile justice system come out with few prospects and no real future. This month, Billy talks with Chef and Café Momentum Executive Director Chad Houser. Cafe Momentum provides year-long internships for young people coming out of juvenile detention.
“The thing they’re learning is what are their strengths, what are their interests, what are they good at. For the first time in their lives, they’re getting to learn positive things about themselves,” Houser told Billy.
