Hi John,
In 2016, Trump called his victory a landslide. Trump won 306 electoral votes but lost the popular vote by nearly three million votes. In 2020, Joe Biden is on track to receive 306 electoral votes and is currently leading Trump by nearly six million votes. Even though Trump’s 2020 loss is looking even larger than his ‘landslide’ win in 2016, Trump has refused to concede and is instead going to despicable lengths to abuse his power in a bid to overturn the election results.
As President Trump continues to undermine our election and our democratic process, many Republicans in Congress are standing by Trump and his baseless claims despite the utter lack of evidence behind their allegations and the repeated defeats of their frivolous lawsuits.
We need your help in demanding that your members of Congress stand up to Trump’s authoritarian rhetoric and attacks on the integrity of our election. Click the link below to email your members of Congress right now; demanding they stand up to support our electoral process. If you are on Twitter, you can also follow the prompts to send a Tweet to your members of Congress.
Thank you for standing up.
Sincerely,
The Stand Up Republic Team
