John,

It's me -- Kevin. You probably know me best from my mom, Gretchen.

Listen, I know the drill: Less time spent fundraising means extra play time for me. But right now, mom is super busy trying to stay on track with her monthly donor goal. That's why I'm reaching out -- because we really need to buckle down.

Today is the 18th and her average donation is $18. So here's 3 reasons why you should rush in an $18 donation now:

1. Mom's working hard to fix the darn roads. This is good, because that car ride to the park gets bumpier every time.
2. Don't you love a fresh bowl of water after a beautiful day of playing around Pure Michigan? Me too. Mom is fighting to ensure everyone has clean drinking water.
3. Trips to the vet are no fun, but when I'm not feeling well -- I like to know it won't cost every bone in the backyard to pay for it. Mom wants that for you, too.

Usually I'm all bark and no business, but this deadline is a serious one folks. There's a lot at stake for Michigan (and for play time) if we don't keep these numbers strong.

So what do you say, John -- will you chip in $18 now? >> [link removed]
