Today is Trans Day of Remembrance. It is a day when our community collectively joins to honor the memory of our trans family, who have been lost too soon to violence and hate. This is a somber day that reminds us all of the work left to do; a day to steel our resolve until each of us can live our authentic lives without fear or danger; a day to vow not to rest until 100% acceptance of our community is realized. The cost of falling short of our goal is simply too great. Let us remember the names of the 38 trans and gender non-conforming souls we are known to have lost in 2020.
