Team,
The day after Election Day, I was leading by over 7,000 votes, and the data showed that our margin of victory would grow once absentee ballots were fully counted.
I’m excited to announce that this was the case and that the Associated Press officially called the race this week. Our lead has grown to over 30,000 votes and we are approaching a 10 point lead with more ballots to count.
Once again, it’s an honor to be chosen to serve as the voice for NY-19 for another two years. New York’s 19th Congressional District made their voices heard, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve once again.
While we cannot celebrate our victory together, I’m looking forward to what we will accomplish this time around.
Just like we saw in my first term, we get things done when we show love and compassion. We get things done when we reach across the aisle, and when we put people before politics and think community first.
Times are still trying -- but as long as we hold fast to those values, I believe we’ll be alright.
Finally, with coronavirus cases surging across the entire country, please remember to wear your mask everywhere you go, socially distance, avoid crowds, and stay home when you can.
Stay safe and take care of each other,
Antonio
