Go Get Em Tiger coffee recently released a new blend, Abolish the Prison-Industrial Complex Blend, in support of Dignity and Power Now.

For every bag sold, $5 will be donated directly to DPN. Each purchase is accompanied with a card of a list of actionable items to further the campaign for abolition and achieve healing and transformative justice.

The blend is available online and in all GGET store locations.

Last week, years of organizing and coalition building paid off. Thanks to you, Dignity and Power Now and our allies in the abolitionist movement saw unprecedented victories at the ballot box. Our coalition partners' efforts reached more than 1 million Black and Brown voters and led to a record turn out across the state.

The Building Resilience team at Dignity and Power Now recently led a grounding practice for nervous system support. Sacha shared grounding techniques that our community can practice to reset, rest, and breathe.

#RESISTonYT

RESIST, a 12 episode docuseries that follows the grassroots work of Dignity and Power Now and JusticeLA, was released on November 18th.

The series highlights the transformative work happening in Los Angeles and examines the over-policing of Black and Brown neighborhoods and mass incarceration. The series also features Dignity and Power Now’s Community Organizer, Helen Jones.

Proceeding from the success of Measure J ([link removed]) , the JusticeLA coalition, that includes Dignity and Power Now, is motivated to continue the momentum by searching for new members who are interested in short-term or long-term volunteer work.

"We don’t just activate folks in the street. We move our folks into those decision making spaces within the county — within the state legislature," - Ivette Alé, DPN's Senior Policy Lead.
