Dear Friend,

By the time a mother kangaroo hears the hunter, it's too late. A bright light
cuts through the darkness, blinding and confusing her—and then the shooting
begins.

She'll likely be wounded, but she may not be killed instantly. Her agonizing last moments come when the hunter cuts off her head or smashes
her skull. Then, her helpless joey will be left behind to starve—that is, if they're not
caught by a hunter, who will bash their head in to kill them.

Please make a difference for kangaroos and other victims of the global skins
trade by donating Just $2 or more to PETA today.

It's no wonder that the international wildlife and animal-skin trades—which
perpetuate hideous cruelty, wreak havoc on ecosystems, and represent major
breeding grounds for animal-borne pathogens—are under greater scrutiny than
ever. In Australia, even after countless native animals have been threatened by
devastating bushfires, gentle kangaroos are still being gruesomely killed for
clothing and accessories.

PETA is determined to stop the massacre. Our powerful exposés and hard-hitting campaigns are revealing the cruelty and
devastation of the global skins industry—and our hard work is paying off as we
push some of world's biggest fashion brands to shun kangaroo leather, exotic
skins, and other cruelly derived materials.

Behind every leather accessory is an animal who didn't want to die, and your
support is vital to strengthening PETA campaigns that are preventing kangaroos
and others from suffering. Will you donate today?

Thank you for your compassion and generosity.

Kind regards,

Ingrid E. Newkirk
President
