John,

Each year between November 13 – 19, individuals and organizations around the country participate in Transgender Awareness Week.

Help us raise the visibility about transgender people and address issues that members of the community face. Join the California Democratic Party in this annual observance to honor and remember those whose lives were lost due to bias and transphobia. This day is used to both honor and celebrate those who came before us to pave a pathway towards equality for all. We’d love it if you could join us tomorrow at 6:00 PM PST. [[link removed]]

[link removed] [[link removed]] RSVP » [[link removed]] Transgender Awareness Week is also when trans/transgender/gender non-conforming individuals, and their communities and allies take action! We work to educate the public about who trans/transgender/gender non-conforming individuals are, share our stories and experiences, and advance advocacy around multiple issues like transphobia, marginalization, discrimination, poverty, lack of affirming health care access, and anti-trans violence.
LISTEN TO TRANS STORIES » [[link removed]] This year, we’ll discuss the impacts of COVID-19, the last four years of damage from the Trump regime, and Republican legislatures who have unfairly targeted the trans/transgender/gender non-conforming community.
SUPPORT TRANS FOLKS » [[link removed]] Yet, through all of our lossess and setbacks, trans/transgender/gender non-conforming humans are resilient, powerful and successful.

We have a lot to celebrate like: *
A
new
Biden-Harris
administration
*
a
pro
trans
and
equality
agenda
*
historic
election
victories
of
transgender
and
non-binary
candidates
*
The
visibility
and
power
of
trans/transgender/gender
non-conforming
artists,
actors,
directors,
community
leaders
and
organizers,
and
activists
and
advocates
across
the
country

We continue to educate, activate, and celebrate our victories and successes, no matter how great or small -- this is what gives us hope.

We’ll elevate our individual and collective voices this week in sharing your/our stories, challenge the systemic anti-trans institutions, and center our trans/transgender/gender non-conforming communities of color who are impacted the most.

We would love if you could join us: [link removed] [[link removed]]
