John,

Our election is still at risk. Tuesday night, two Michigan elections officials tried to disenfranchise over a million voters by refusing to certify the election results. Thanks to massive public pressure, their election threat was extinguished within hours – but we’re not out of the woods yet.

Elections officials across the country still haven't certified the results of the election. We need to be ready to respond to partisan meddling in all 50 states – and most Americans don't even realize it's happening. Watch and share this video now to spread the word about this threat to our election and how we can stop it in its tracks.

This is the threat that we've been monitoring for months: Partisan political operatives could refuse to certify election results, overriding the will of the voters and attempting to keep their party in power.

Officials in Michigan only reversed course after their public Zoom call was overwhelmed with voters voicing their concerns, anger, and frustration. For three hours, Michiganders flooded the public comments, and at the end of the meeting the Wayne County Board of Elections unanimously voted to certify the election results.

This incredible video shows the dedication and courage of Americans showing up to defend our elections – and we have to be ready to do it in all 50 states.

This was a coordinated attempt to disenfranchise voters, and we could see more blatantly authoritarian moves like this in other states. But if patriots around the country know about this threat now, they’ll be ready to take action if operatives in other states try to pull the same stunt. Will you watch and share this video with five friends so people around the country understand the threat – and the power of public pressure – so they’re ready to take similar action to defend our democracy?

When the people responsible for overseeing free and fair elections attempt to rig the election for their candidate of choice, our entire democracy is at risk. Tuesday night’s action was a blatantly undemocratic and unacceptable move – and we won’t stand for it.

We’re watching every state closely, and we’ll keep you apprised of the latest news. Thank you for defending democracy with us.
