Semptember 2019

Dear John,

This is a big week for climate action: the Global Climate Strike starts this Friday. From floods to drought to fires, the impacts of climate change on our rivers and water supplies should be a wake-up call. If you love rivers, if you care about clean water, if you value justice, if you want a better future, this is a critical moment.

How will you seize it? Attend a protest, call your representative, make a donation – whatever you decide, do something positive. Take action. Because, as Project Drawdown’s Dr. Katharine Wilkinson says, "It is a magnificent thing to be alive at a moment that matters so much."

Thank you for standing up for healthy rivers. Your voice matters and your support makes a difference.

Flames and flows: wildfires and river health
As wildfire season continues in the U.S. west, we're shining a spotlight on the importance of healthy forests. In a podcast from last year, we discuss the impact of willdfires on rivers.

Rivers and climate change
When it comes to climate action, healthy rivers must be a top priority. Here's why.
