Today, there are an estimated 1.1 million people living with HIV in the United States. Thanks to advancements in medicine and public health initiatives, HIV is a chronic disease for many Americans. Unfortunately, significant health disparities exist. The Bipartisan Policy Center set out to explore the challenges and opportunities to end the HIV epidemic from the vantage point of local health care providers and health agencies in eight diverse jurisdictions across the country. Please join us as we release a report on our findings and host policymakers and experts to discuss barriers and potential policy solutions to the U.S. HIV epidemic.
