Our mayor and our governor need to get their shit together. 

With the announcement of public schools closing yesterday, the lives of parents, families and children are yet again upended on a moment’s notice, with no real plan forward for re-opening our schools.

Mayor de Blasio and Governor Cuomo have consistently failed in communicating a clear plan for our classrooms, and this lack of leadership is failing all of our communities. 

This kind of failed leadership is exactly why I’m running for Manhattan Borough President. For too long, our city has suffered from the lack of a real vision to make our city more equitable and livable.
