We've just released our powerful new PSA, "Back-to-School Essentials," right as the school year begins. We wanted to make sure you saw it first – and hope you'll watch all the way to the end:

At the start of another school year, children should be excited about new friends, new teachers and new school supplies. Instead, they spend more and more time worrying about school shootings – and no child should have to worry they might go to school and never make it home.

In our video, we show the awful, painful reality that children across the country face as school shootings become more frequent. But we also make it clear that it doesn't have to be this way: If we teach students to Know the Signs, and if we can empower them to report warning signs to trusted adults, we can prevent school shootings and save lives.
