This Tuesday, the governors of Oregon and California convened with Tribal leaders and the owner of four Upper Klamath River dams to announce that the dams are again on track for tear-down. The next step to reconnecting 400 miles of historic spring Chinook habitat—habitat blocked for more than a century—is federal approval.
