Webinar Overview
This is part one of a two-part series that will provide a basic
framework for diving into immigration law. This may be especially
helpful for practitioners new to the field, or those who know one or
two areas of immigration law but want to get a better understanding
of the whole. We will provide a basic framework, where we will
discuss the various agencies involved in immigration law, acronyms,
the structure of the Act, and an overview of affirmative applications
and removal proceedings. We will grapple with the concept of
admission and explore selected grounds of inadmissibility and
deportability. Jump in and learn with us over two webinar sessions.
