Save the BCWA this Give to the Max Day

John,

My name is Mia Divecha - I am an avid Boundary Waters user, and a proud donor to the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters.

I didn’t grow up camping, but when I moved to Minnesota I was eager to explore this place that so many Minnesotans claimed as the crown jewel of the state, worthy of repeat trips, and exhaustive itineraries.

Witnessing personal transformation is one of my favorite parts of the Boundary Waters. Every year since my first trip, my spouse and I bring new people to this incredible place and we get to watch them open up and experience it for the first time.

Will you help protect this transformative Wilderness? Join me by making a Give to the Max Day gift to Save the Boundary Waters today.

One of my favorite memories was this past summer when we took our friends Jack and Anne on their first trip. Not even three hours into the trip Jack exclaims, “this is the best day of my life.” It is a treat to both see my friends transform and to deepen my relationships with them with this shared experience. Nothing says relationship building like navigating a canoe in windy weather!

I urge you to support the protection of the BWCA from dangerous sulfide-ore copper mining by making a donation right now. With your help, we can continue to invite in new friends, family, and colleagues to experience this precious place.

For the Wilderness, as they say,

P.S. You can help protect this one-of-a-kind landscape by donating today. Plus, when you do, your dollars will be doubled up to $150,000. But don’t wait! Time is running out.
