Team,

We cast our ballots, we counted the votes, and we elected a new president. President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris secured 306 Electoral College votes. They flipped Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Georgia. They won -- decisively.

In fact, every major national media outlet has called the presidential election for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris -- yet the Trump-appointed federal official who is supposed to start the peaceful transfer of power refuses to acknowledge Biden's win, contradicting decades of precedent and putting our democracy and wellbeing in danger.

Will you join me in calling on the head of the General Services Administration, Emily Murphy, to certify the election so the Biden-Harris administration can immediately begin the transition?

This delay is not only a threat to our democracy -- keeping critical briefings and funding from Biden's transition team is also a threat to national security, our country's ability to slow the spread of COVID-19, and a timely rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. To make matters worse, it's abundantly clear that Emily Murphy is only delaying the transition for partisan reasons. Election officials across the country have reported no widespread voter fraud, and the election results are clear.

We need to start this transition immediately if we want to protect our national security and get this pandemic under control. Add your name to demand that the General Services Administration make the election results official.
