[2]National Nurses United
Last night we had our national post-election strategy call, and even
though you weren’t able to attend, we want to keep you in the loop on our
upcoming plans.
We have lots of work to do before the new Congress gets sworn in next
January — and that’s where we need you to plug in. To start, we need to get
original cosponsors to sign back on to the Medicare for All bills and get
new elected leaders on our side as well.
So we introduced our newest District Leaders program. As a District
Leader, you will make sure we are building our movement on the ground so
Members of Congress hear us both in their own districts and on a national
scale.

we count on you to sign up to become a District Leader? We’ll be with you
every step of the way!

But, that’s not all we need to do in order to win Medicare for
All.
In addition to getting cosponsors back on the Medicare for All bill, we
need to lay down the groundwork to continue building our long-term
movement. That’s why this January you’ll have another opportunity to join
a national call to kick off our next plans and prepare for our next week
of action in February.
In the midst of Covid-19, millions have been infected by the virus, lost
their employer-sponsored coverage, and seen lower quality care at higher
prices due to increased corporate hospital consolidation.
Everyone in this country is depending on this movement to achieve health
care justice by winning quality, guaranteed health care under Medicare for
All — so we have to get to work.

Leader today.
In solidarity,
