As Donald Trump feels his grip on power slipping, there is no telling how far he might go in lashing out.
If you can, please donate now to help us fight Trump in these last — and potentially most dangerous — days of his presidency.
See my earlier note, copied below in case you missed it, for more.
Thanks,

I’m guessing that most Public Citizen supporters aren’t on Donald Trump’s email list.
In the spirit of “taking one for the team,” I am.
And I wanted to share a little of what Trump is saying in the flurry of emails he’s been cranking out since the election.
Here are a few lines from just one of Trump’s recent emails soliciting funds from his MAGA faithful:
- “It’s been heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support across the Nation from great American Patriots.”
- “Organic rallies have been springing up all over the Country in support of yours truly — incredible!”
- “I am the American People’s ALL-TIME favorite President.”
Please don’t make the mistake of dismissing these as the ravings of a narcissistic imbecile — even though that’s what Trump is.
Trump is still president for 63 more days. And there is simply no telling how far he might go in lashing out as he feels his grip on power slipping.
The sad but alarming reality is that more than 73 million Americans just voted for four more years of Trump and his craven, hateful, ignorant approach to everything.
And now Trump is making utterly baseless claims of election fraud to fleece his adherents out of even more of their money and to amass a war chest for whatever corrupt, undemocratic ideas are pinging around inside his skull.
Public Citizen has been fighting Donald Trump for years and years (long before he became president, in fact).
Of course, we are hardly alone in that fight.
And we make do on a modest budget.
But we do need a baseline level of support to keep fighting Trump for his last — and potentially most dangerous — days in office.
If you can, please donate today to help make sure we don’t have to back down from fighting Trump on multiple fronts.
Contribute now.
Or even join our popular Monthly Giving program to help provide the dependable resources it takes to keep fighting.
Thank you for anything you can chip in today.
For democracy,
- Robert Weissman, President of Public Citizen
